Gabrielle Kent

Gabrielle is an NYC-based multi-talented performing artist who has been dancing for 23 years. Originally from Holden, Massachusetts, she trained at her hometown studio under Chris and Joel Seger before graduating from Elite Academy of Dance alongside Lauren Mangano. Growing up a competition and convention dancer gave Gabrielle  the opportunity to travel and assist dancers such as Kent Boyd, Alex Wong, Lauren Froderman and Twitch. It also instilled in her the passion for proper technique, anatomy, and protection of the body. She believes the root to a performer is beyond the technician you train to be.

 

She furthered her studies at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, earning an Associates in Dance Theater. Gabrielle holds a BFA with a concentration in Dance Performance and Education from Dean College.

 

Along with dance, Gabrielle has experience in live theater, film, modeling and corporate entertainment. Her recent credits include performances with Doja Cat, NFT NYC, New York Fashion Week 2023, Rumbamena Dance Company, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Film and TV credits include ''My True Crime Stories and Sony Productions' 'Madame Web.'

 

When she is not performing, you can find her teaching and subbing at various studios including Betty Gundersen Studio of Dance, Mckeon Dance and Gymnastics, Artistry Dance Center, The Dance Center and Cathy Taylor School of Dance.
